The Aquarian Tide Hotel

Aquarian Tide Hotel is one of the best hotels in Gaborone, nested in the perfect location, minutes from the airport and just a few minutes away by foot from one of the biggest shopping complexes in Gaborone.

If you are considering staying at the Aquarian Tide Hotel you will want to make sure you book ahead though because it is often fully booked each night! In my opinion, its the perfect size hotel with around 120 rooms and only three floors it has a quite but intimate feeling. It is busy based on its location but the front desk staff is always relaxed and ready to help, the dining room always has space and the terrace in the back is welcoming and peaceful.

We slept well here…

it could have been the colourful drinks or perhaps it was just because the bed was super comfortable with just the right amount of pillows! The rooms are equip with a mini fridge, aircon and tv which make relaxing and munching in your off time easy and enjoyable. There is an in-house restaurant with friendly and helpful staff your stay is sure to be a good one. With our particular diets they worked their hardest to make delicious and health conscious meals which was a wonderful addition.

Aquarian Tide Hotel is only a 10 minute drive from from the Gaborone CBD

Making it a great option if you’re just passing through on a layover, looking to host a conference or interested in sleeping away from the hustle and bustle of the business district.

We had the pleasure of getting to know the General Manager Mavis Nduwcha during the filming of Warriors of Action as well during our stay at Aquarian and we can honestly say that this establishment is in wonderful hands! You can check out our interview with Mavis once the WOA! Botswana episode 1 is released!
